1995-0000 Poem by Elizabeth Bodine, Cincinnati, Ohio (shortly after experiencing Sahaja Yoga for the first time from) from 1994-0804 Sudarshan, Page 5
When you stop looking for mirrors
in the outside world,
but turn inward,
gazing into the bottomless lake
which is your own heart and spirit,
you might find a diamond,
an essence,
a source,
a quintessential.
Somewhere invisibly tangible,
underneath the now,
between pure desire and silence,
alight shines in darkness.
Search with grateful awareness.
Do not fear the endless echos
of your solitary footsteps
in pitch darkness.
Collect all your hopefulness
to this moment,
this magnetic core,
this speck of infinite.
Crawl inside and become it.
Then you will be like the seed
from which springs
the mountains
and the roses.
Then you will become
one of the lucky singers
in the Garden.
