1995-0000 Poem ‘The Krishna Dawn’ by Elizabeth Bodine, San Jose from 1995-0000 Sudarshan (likely August), Page 3
Once upon a Sunrise, when the glorious orb
washed the sparrow's flight in pink, adoring fight,
You blurred the edges of 'me', expanding them to reflect Thee.
Your Fluted bird song was met, with joyous spinning duet,
a melody intrinsic to Your gesture Divine,
while the nature of my existence was wholly redefined.
For who can divide Beauty from Her Source Divine?
Who can sing more softly to the Sun, than gentle Sunshine?
All the world rests on the sweetness of that moment,
When inside Your Magic Flute, I became a drop of Sunshine.
Although half a world away, from Dwaraka,
your ancient land,
I fear not death or time: You held me in Your Hard.
For time is a mist, death a gate, and joy the Amrut Infinite!
Inside Your pink down sparrow song, the lucky souls unite.
For when we become Your sacred song,
we melt into oceans of light.
Krishna Dawn vibrations,
Peacock fan unfold,
glory reflected in simple joy,
She is Infinite Love, behold.
