The communication channel of love
is a fascinating piece of art

It has threads of respect,
threads of care and threads of playful banter
Vibrating in wondrous harmony

If used with honesty and with patience
friend and enemy can respond alike

Lover or stranger, brother or rival,
ally or competitor
All can have an open ear for it

Once such a channel is open it doesn’t easily shut close again
Harmony holds all sides in sync
Leading to a mode of understanding

This communication channel of love
is such an astounding thing
Creating miracles in configurations
in which no one thought it possible
