The Dream Lives On

As the lion roars one more time
With kindness and for justice
For rights and righteousness
and not just laws

The dream lives on

As the banner,
carried high for so long
handed to a new generation
flies proudly in the wind

The dream lives on
As we fight
not with swords and guns
not with words and dirty tricks
but with the love and strength of doing good

The dream lives on

As our hearts are full of hope
As our minds are full of confidence
that the future is ours, and it’s a better one

The dream lives on
