The tiger within me watches
Majestic, quiet, full of poise and confidence

The tiger within me sits and waits alertly

For the moment it should roar
For the moment it should battle
For the moment it should protect

For the moment it should struck fear
into the hearts of those who hurt the meek

The tiger within me sits and waits alertly

For the moment it will jump
and ravage the minds of those
who preach hate and desperation

The tiger with me sits and waits alertly

For the moment it is allowed to express its wrath
Its wrath with the ones who take advantage of the innocent
Its wrath with those who feel no shame
at exploiting the unfortunate

The tiger within me is not tame
The tiger within me is not boisterous either
It just quietly sits and waits its turn
To express itself, once the time is right
