"Fāṭimah, the daughter of Muhammad Sāheb, was the same who became daughter of King Janaka.
Whom are you fighting? Think over it."
1973-1125 Public Program (Hindi), Day 7, Pāne ke Bāda: Sāta Chakroṃ ke Devatā (After Getting It: Deities of the Seven Chakras), 4 Duplex Lane, New Delhi, India

"Now, what can I say, you would be surprised, that the Shia sect that started after Muhammad Sāhab, His daughter was Fāṭimah, She was also Ādi Śhakti.
And Her two children were, Hasan and Husayn, back then, when They saw even after the annihilation of the world, the human beings did not understand, then They were born as Buddha and Mahāvīra and They brought the non-violence as religion, and attempted that, 'Maybe with the establishment of non-violence people will achieve Self-realization.'
But couldn't do it."
1973-1208 Public Program (Hindi), Day 2, Biralā Krīṛā Keṃdra, Chowpatty, Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

"After the birth of the daughter of Muhammad Sāhab, as I talked yesterday also, there was beginning of the caste Shia in Islam.
Shia word has been derived from Siyā. The word which come from Siyā became Shia -- Siyā means Sītājī. If you go to UP [Uttar Pradesh, India] then nobody says Sītājī, they say Siyājī, 'Siyā var Rām[a]chandra ki jay.' Everyone takes the name Siyā. She was Sītājī, Ādi Śhakti Herself.
And Her two sons, who were Hasan and Husayn, destroyed many evils. When They ultimately died after getting tried, then in the next birth they thought of establishment of nonviolence, violence led them nowhere.
They were [re]born as Mahāvīr and Buddha to make a new experiment. Experiments do happen."
1973-1209 Public Program (Hindi), Day 3, Śhrī Dattātreya Jayanti, Biralā Krīṛā Keṃdra, Chowpatty, Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

"And His daughter Fāṭimah was nobody else but Sītā Jānakī Herself.
And Her two sons, Hasan and Husayn, were nobody else but Lava and Kuśha.
They were born again and again: They were born as Mahāvīra and Buddha, and then They were born as Hasan and Husayn.
It is only possible through Sahaja Yoga to realize that this is the Truth, this is the fact."
1976-0205 Public Program (Vasant Pañchamī), Day 2, Description of Kuṇḍalinī, after Śhrī Viṣhnu Havan, New Delhi, India

"Now, beyond that is God's Realization.
There are three stages to that also, but just now I have told this: the Sat-chit-ānand State.
The God's Realization is the state in which Gautam Buddha and Mahāvīra only rose, and They are settled down here in our brains, both of Them are here, Christ is here.
And these two were not Incarnations: They were born as human beings. They were born to Sītā, as Lav and Kuśh. Then they were born as Buddha and Mahāvīra. Then Ādi Śhakti was Their mother again. Then they were born to Fāṭimah Bi as Hasan and Husayn.
They are both placed here, in your head.
And They are the two milestones you have got, by which you can know what a human being can rise up to that now today They are like Incarnations. Incarnations are beyond, but maybe the gap can be bri... bridged."
1977-0215 Public Program (Hindi + English), Day 2, Sat-chit-ānanda, New Delhi, India

"Now in this Void we have two great entities as well which we know as Chandra [Moon] and Sūrya [Sun]. Moon and Sun are such chakras which reside on these nāḍīs here and here.
On these chakras there are two very great personalities who have been appointed. They are complete embodiment of human beings. They are like humans, in fact are humans. Out of these one is Buddha and one is Mahāvīra.
But if you listen to the whole history of Their lives, then these are two sons which Śhrī Sītā had as Lav and Kuśha who is completely in human form. And after They evolved to the level that They are here as Buddha and Mahāvīra. There also they thought They have reached an extreme of nonviolence because the supports of nonviolence came in and started protecting even mosquitoes and bugs.
Then They again took birth and came at the time of Muhammad. Muhammad was an Incarnation of Śhrī Janaka and His daughter Fāṭimah Bi was also Incarnation of Śhrī Sītā.
Then, as Their sons as Hasan and Husayn, They gave Their life in Karbalāʾ to prove that no kind of extreme is good.

And this thing is Truth or not you can see on your vibrations. If [one thinks that] I am lying, then through your vibrations you would know that not even one single word is a lie here that I am telling you."
1978-0131 Public Program (Hindi), Day 2, Void, Heart, Viśhuddhi, Channels, New Delhi, India

"Those who are here and Buddha and Mahāvīr are here, sitting on our foreheads. Buddha and Mahāvīr are not someone else, [but] Luv and Kuśh, whom you call, Their names are Luv and Kuśh. They are the ones who take birth in Their world multiple times. They came into the world under the names of Buddha and Mahāvīr.
Consider Them as Incarnations only. They are a special being who take incarnation from humans.
He came into the world and preached non-violence. But His non-violence was not like the Jains, who say, 'Take care of the ants, take care of the mosquitoes.'
So then He said, "Take birth again." I don't know what drama He created, so then He took birth as Hasan and Husayn.
Their mother, who was Sītājī, was also Jānakī, was also Rādhā, She is also called Fāṭimah. And Her place is in the left navel.
Hazarat ʿAlī is also a very significant figure. Without taking His name, the left navel doesn't open. Hazarat ʿAlī. He is the same incarnation of Brahma."
1979-0117 Public Program (Hindi), Day 4, Chakroṃ para Upasthita Devatā (Deities on All Chakras), Gita Mandir Hall, Bharatiya Vidyā Bhavan (3rd floor), 29, Kulapati K.M. Munshi Mārg, Chowpatty, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

"When you believe in Muhammad Sāhab also, also in Nāṇak Sāhab, and in Hazarat ʿAlī also, in Fāṭimah Bi also, and in Sītājī also, also in Jesus Christ, and also in Gaṇeśhjī, then how can you sit in these small compartments of religions?"
1979-0318 Public Program (Hindi), Day 9, Sahasrāra Chakra, Śhāmiyānā, Garden, Pataudi House, 10 Ashoka Road, New Delhi, India

"And those gurus who know about it, they know that on our left, at the place of Swādhiṣhṭhān, we have to take the name of Hazarat ʿAlī and Fāṭimah."
1979-0322 Public Program (Hindi), Sahaja Yoga and the Subtle System, Biralā Krīṛā Keṃdra, Chowpatty, Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (other date 0321)

"So He [Lord Buddha] was to be born again as one of the sons of Fāṭimah Bi, who was the daughter of Muhammad Sāhab. Then again He was to be born as Mārkaṇḍeya, and again as Śhaṅkarāchārya: just to neutralize what He has been preaching."
1979-0611 Public Program, How Aspects of God Are Expressed within Us, Caxton Hall, 10 Caxton Street, Westminster, London, UK

"You see, there are four types of Incarnations.
One is the Incarnation of the Mother, all right? She can be a wife [mother] or a brother [sister], of a Guru. She can be a wife, [but] never a wife of a Guru. As a daughter of a Guru. It's a, like Muhammad Sāhab's daughter, Fāṭimah, was Ādi Śhakti Herself."
1979-0617 Conversation with Sahaja Yogis, Bala Kanayson's House, Rosemary Road, Tamworth (31 kms NE of Birmingham), Staffordshire, UK

" 'Keep your body all right,' 'Don't overdo things,' 'Keep a moderate life,' 'Lead a normal life,' that's what Buddha has told you. There is no need to go to extremes for anything!
But even Buddhist[s], they have gone to another extreme, so He had to come on this Earth as Śhaṅkarāchārya to tell people, "What are you doing? When did I say this‽"
Then they were born as the sons of Fāṭimah Bi, who was Herself nothing else but Jānakī, and They were Her sons Hasan and Husayn, who had preached nonviolence and They saw that people were trying to save uh-uh-uh ... bugs and mosquitoes.
You know, there are some funny cults where we are so particular of bugs, mosquitoes and all the worms. We are not at all particular about human beings. They, I don't know what am I going to do with bugs? Am I going to give them Realization? Even chickens, am I going to give them Realization? I have to give Realization to human beings! What is the need to pay so much attention to these nonsensical things? To save the bugs and save the mosquitoes and make them bite a Brahmin, pay him money, because they think they have done a great kalyāṇa on the bugs. Perhaps they might have been bugs, in last lives, the way they are interested in all these mosquitoes. [Laughter.]
Now, these two were born as Hasan and Husayn and to get rid of these ideas of nonviolence, they had this Karbalāʾ, in which They fought and died like great śhūras [warriors for good, brave men].
This is the story of Great Incarnations on this Earth."
1981-0207 Public Program, Day 3, Introduction to Nābhī and Void, Mavlankar Hall, Constitution Club of India, Vithal Bhai Patel House, Rafi Mārg, Sansad Mārg Area, Behind Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi, India

"And from Sahaja Yoga how do you cure? It is very simple. Put your left hand towards the Photograph and put your right hand on your spleen and turn it, and say, "Mother, You are the Gṛuhalakṣhmī."
Now Gṛuhalakṣhmī was Fāṭimah Bi, who was the daughter of Muhammad Sāheb and She was ... She never went out, She never went out. She kept inside the house and She made Her children so great, two children who fought Their way and the husband also, and They died in that big war of Karbalāʾ. And She stayed at home.
The whole Power was inside. She never went out. She used always that, what you call, completely covered, 'burqa', you see.
She is the one who is the complete Gṛuhalakṣhmī among all the Lakṣhmīs. Like you can say Sītā was Mahālakṣhmī, but She was Gṛuhalakṣhmī. Just kept Herself.
Nobody knows much about Her, but She is the one who created this Shia, Shia you see.

Surprising, that Sītājī is called is called as Shia in the villages and some people who do not pronounce, say Shia.
So the pure Gṛuhalakṣhmī was Fāṭimah Bi."
1981-0324 Talk to Sahaja Yogis, Āśhram, 10 Clarence Street, Burwood, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (date not sure)

"Even today they don't accept Him. They are very adamant.
And the third force that he [Martin Luther] had to face was the Islam, Islamic.
And the Islam played down the role of a woman, though Fāṭimah, Herself, was the Holy Ghost, is the Mahākālī Power, the daughter of Muhammad. But he played it down just: because the Islam had played it down he thought, gradually, as Protestants will grow up, he will start introducing the greatness of His Mother.
As it is, Jews, even today, are after the Immaculate Conception."
1981-1006 Public Program (8th Day of Navarātri), Day 3, The New Age Has Started (From Kṛiṣhṇa to Christ), Venue 2, Unity (Church of Christianity), 2929 Unity Drive, Houston, TX, U.S.A.

"And His [Hazarat ʿAlī's] wife, that was later on, His wife was also the same Mahālakṣhmī personified: the daughter of Nārāyaṇa [Muhammad]. She incarnated also like that.
So the, in the main, They are worshiped as three persons in India, as I told you: as first as Sītā, and then as Rādhā, and then as Mary. In ... in India, Mary, Female, is worshiped also, three, three persons.
But, otherwise, She incar-nated as Fāṭimah. And She also uh ... incarnated as Nāṇaka's sister, as Nāṇakī. But because They were at a potential level, They were potential at that time, so, people do not know much about Them. Even Mary was potential energy: She was not kinetic.
......
So They [Lord Buddha and Lord Mahāvīra] came back again as the two children of Fāṭimah Bi, who was again Sītājī, of Her, as the grandchildren of Muhammad Sāhab."
1982-1029 Talk to Sahaja Yogis, Creation, Original Sin, and Incarnations, Manhattan, New York City, NY, U.S.A.

"On the contrary, in the morning talk to your wife, talk to your children, look after your Gṛuhalakṣhmī Tattwa.
The wife also has to be a Gṛuhalakṣhmī as I told you.
Then you have your food properly. Sit down and eat properly.
But no! Just after that, upsetting that Nābhī, you jump into your car, taking your breakfast in your hand, eating on the way, honking at people, getting angry with them. The wife is calling, "Come along! You had no breakfast!", nothing doing! You are on your way on a special work.
You end up with leukemia, at least, minimum of minimum, if not with heart attack.
Leukemia comes from left Nābhī, when your Gṛuhalakṣhmī is ruined.
The Deity of Gṛuhalakṣhmī is Fāṭimah Bi, the daughter of Muhammad Sāhab. While the daughter of ... the sister of Nāṇak Sāhab is on the left Nā... left Viśhuddhi. You'll see that. Nāṇakī."
1983-0131 Public Program, Day 2, The Nābhī Chakra, N.D.M.C. Park, Hanumān Road, New Delhi, India

"See now: in Christianity, one should understand why Christianity, even Judaism, any ... any religion, even Hinduism and all that -- but's more in Christianity, surprisingly -- they just had no place for Mary. And Muslims even crowned it by completely canceling Fāṭimah Bi.
And on top of that, you will see that, among Christians, I think that ordination, or what you call that, is not given to the lad... to the women, while Christ was not born of a man."
1983-0821 Mother Earth and Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī Pūjā, Garden, Āśhram, 102 Ditton Road, Surbiton, London, UK

"You can say that at the time of Muhammad Sāhab, He didn't talk much about it, because the time was such. But His own daughter was an Incarnation of the Primordial Mother, whose name was Fāṭimah.
And the two sons that were born to Her are the sons who came on this Earth also as Mahāvīra and Buddha, and They were born even earlier.
Like that, They were born again and again, as there's [there are] two elements as the disciples, as two disciples. And you can see if you read Their life, Their character, Their behavior, you'll be surprised, how these two characters have been born again and again, in different times to suggest two personalities, of two types, who have been seeking God, and who have been trying to understand God through Their personality as disciple, and how They reached a conclusion after taking a kuh kind of a uh position in life. "
1983-1012 Public Program (7th Day of Navarātri), Day 2, Old Cambridge Baptist Church, 1151 Massachussetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA, U.S.A.

"So, through the eternity of time, as the Mother of the Buddha, as the wife of Hazarat ʿAlī who was the husband of Fāṭimah, She incarnated at that time to do that job of providing the sustaining force.
But now, what has happened today: is that same [unclear] has taken birth as a Mother, to give us what Christ promised: our Second Birth."
1983-1020 Public Program, Day 3, The Community Church, 40 East and 35th Street, Manhattan, New York City, NY, U.S.A.

"Otherwise they incarnated as Hasan and Husayn, the sons of Fāṭimah, daughter of Muhammad and wife of ʿAlī. [Par ailleurs, Ils se sont incarnés comme Hasan and Husayn, les fils de Fāṭimah, la fille de Mahomet et l'épouse d' ʿAlī.]"
1984-0507 Interview with Michel Sadashiva Cherney for the Sahaja Yoga Magazine in French L'Attention, Issue 4, Pages 32 to 37, Āśhram, 9, Allée Du Rocher, Le Raincy (13 kms E of Paris), Île-de-France, France

"In no Incarnation a male has come without a female. Christ came, He had His Mother. When Śhrī Kṛiṣhṇa came, He had to have Rādhā. When Rāma came, Sītā was there. When Nāṇaka came, there had to be Nāṇakī. When Janaka came, He had to have Jānakī, as His daughter. When Muhammad Sāhab came, He had to have His daughter, Fāṭimah. They could not do without the Power because they are just the kinetic energy.
But when the Goddess came, She came alone. Because She has a Power to contain within Herself all the Powers."
1985-0601 Talk to Sahaja Yogis, The Role of Women in America, Tent, Backyard, House of Judy Gaddy, 442 Liberty Road, Englewood, NJ, U.S.A.

"So when we read about the Devī, about Her Incarnations, how She came on this Earth to save Her bhaktas, people who were trying to ascend, to cross this Bhavasāgara, how She worked hard, how She fought the devils, how She cough... She killed the demons, single-handed, She took upon Herself the responsibility of making the people cross the Bhavasāgara.
Guru gave you the strength to have dharma but She is the One who brought you out. Even those who were dhārmik could not do it because of the demonic pressure. She's the One who fought, single-handed, with Her Powers of destruction. In Her Love for you She fought. She brought you to this level.
And then She took a milder form of Incarnation. Even during the time of all the Gurus, She took the Form of, as you know: Jānakī was the daughter of Janaka, then Fāṭimah was the daughter of Muhammad Sāhab, and Nāṇakī was the sister of Nāṇaka. In those Forms, these Powers s... sustained and nourished the Guru Tattwa. And later on, or sometimes simultaneously, They incarn-nated [incarnated] in milder forms to help human beings to rise."
1985-1019 Navarātri Pūjā (cusp between the 6th Day and 7th Day), Complete Dedication, Gymnasium, Weggis (19 kms E of Luzern on Luzern Lake), Lucerne, Switzerland

"Now let us see how many Incarnations we've had of Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī. Firstly, the Principle of Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī is very close with a Guru ... a relation of plenty of love and purity.
Now if we see from the beginning with all the Ādi Gurus, She was born to them as a daughter or as a sister. Like the daughter of Janaka was Śhrī Sītā: She was the form of Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī, was the Principle of Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī. Sītā was Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī, and She was the daughter of Janaka. Then the sister of Śhrī Nāṇaka, Nāṇakī, She was Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī. Her relation was of sister. In the same way, the daughter of Muhammad Sāhib, Fāṭimah, She was Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī.
After Her, Rādhā: Rādhā was the form of Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī.
After Her, Mary: Mary was Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī, and Her relation was of purity.
She was so pure that with Her purity She gave birth to Śhrī Christ. So She was a form of complete pure Virgin. And as She was a form of Virgin, because of Her purity She got a Son pure as Christ. So She was also Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī."
1986-0106 Śhrī Mahālakṣhmī Pūjā (English + Marathi + English), Ascent Is the Main Attention, Sangli, Maharashtra, India

"And you know that, also, that when they gave Me once a ... uh-uh-uh beautiful crown, in Switzerland, in the sky, they got the Photograph of the same. Very beautifully done, the ... uh-uh-uh crown was there, Fāṭimah's crown, My face, My eyes and everything so clearly.
All this is done by Viṣhṇumāyā."
1987-0506 Talk to Sahaja Yogis, The Need to Go Deeper and Questions and Answers, Āśhram, 10 Clarence Street, Burwood, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

"Today we are going to have the Pūjā of Fāṭimah Bi, who was the symbol of Gṛuhalakṣhmī. And so we are going to have the Pūjā of the Gṛuhalakṣhmī Principle within us.
As the housewife has to finish every work, everything in the household, and then she goes for a bath, in the same way this morning, I had to do lots of things. And then I could come for your Pūjā. Because today the housewife's jobs were many, so I had to finish them like a good housewife.
Now, the Principle of Gṛuhalakṣhmī has been evolved and developed by the Divine: is not a human beings' creation. And as you know, it resides in the left Nābhī.
The Gṛuhalakṣhmī is the one that is represented in the life of Fāṭimah, who was the daughter of Muhammad Sāhab.
Now She is always born in a relationship, to a Guru, which is of virginity, of purity. So She comes as a sis-ter or She comes as a daughter.
Now the beauty of Fāṭimah's life is: that after the death of Muhammad Sāhab, as usual, there were fanatic people who thought they can take the religion into their hands, and can make it a very fanatic thing. And the attention was not paid so much towards the ascent of the person.
Even Muhammad Sāhab has described His son-in-law in many ways. And He is the only One, or there's another Incarnation, of Brahmadeva, who came on this Earth, ʿAlī, came on this Earth. He was the Incarnation of Brahmadeva, and His another Incarn-nation [Incarnation] was Sopāndev, which ... you can go to Poona [Pune], you can see the temple of Sopāndev there.
......
So, we have ʿAlī and His wife Fāṭimah who incarnated on the Principle of the left Nābhī.
She stayed in Her house, in Her household, and She observed, what you call, a kind of a pardā [veil] or naqab [mask] as they call it, to cover Her face-ss. Is a symbol that a woman who is a housewife has to save her chastity by covering her face, because She was a beautiful woman and They were born in a country which was very, very voilent [violent], and She would have been definitely attacked in case She had not lived in that kind of fashion.
As you know, in the time of Christ, though Mary was Mahālakṣhmī's Incarnation, had to be very-very potential personality. And Christ did not want anybody to know what She was.
But though She was in the house, She was Śhakti. So She allowed Her sons, or actually ordered Them, to fight those fanatics-s-s who were trying to deny the authority of Her husband. And you know They, Hasan and Husayn, They were killed there.
It's a very beautiful thing how the Mahālakṣhmī Tattwa of Sītā took a form of Viṣhṇumāyā, just to establish the beautiful Principle of ... a Housewife.
Now She was very powerful, no doubt! And She knew that Her children will be killed.
But these people are never killed, They never die, nor do They suffer! Is a drama They had to play to show people how stupid they are.
Bur [but] as a ... as a result of that, another system started where they respected Saints.
Like in India, Shia people respect uh Auliyās, or we can call them the people who are realized Souls, like Nizamuddin Sāhab. Then we have got in ... Chisti, uh-uh-uh we have got in Ajmer [Rajasthan], uh-uh-uh Hazarat Chisti.
All these great Saints were respected by Shias.
But still, they could not transcend the limits of a religiosity. So, they also became extremely fanatic.
Firstly they would not uh-uh see to another r-religion where they had Saints, they would not respect the Saints who were belonged to another religion.
And even when we had a Great Saint like Sāī Nāth of Śhirḍī, who was a Muslim to begin with, and it is said that Fāṭimah Herself brought Him as a child in Her lap and gave Him to some lady. Is said so. We did not deny, as far as the Hindus were concerned, His Saintliness, but the Muslims-ss did not accept Him.
There's another one called Haji Malang, who is very near Bombay [Mumbai], who was a realized Soul [Bābā Abdur Rehman Malang, a Sufi Saint who came to India in the 12th century A.D. from the Middle East, whose dargah is in Kalyan in Thane]. He, too, realized the fanaticism of the Su... Shias.
"

1988-0814 Śhrī Fāṭimah Pūjā, Saint-George (40 kms W of Lausanne), Vaud, Switzerland

[Śhrī Mātājī advices that this is the proper order to say the Deities's name in the mantras:] ......"Śhrī Hazarat Fāṭimah" ......
1989-0800 Advices on Mantras (month not sure)

"The last Mahālakṣhmī Principle came as Fāṭimah.
Fāṭimah, the Gṛuhalakṣhmī, She stayed at home. She didn't show off. She was not the one who went out. Stayed at home, looked after household. Looked after Her children and made Them two great warriors! Her children and Her husband, They fought for the right, They fought for the truth. She was a Gṛuhalakṣhmī. "

1990-1021 Diwālī Pūjā (4th day after Diwālī Day), Touch Your Depth, Chioggia (50 kms S of Venice), Veneto, Italy

Version 1:
"We the Sahaja Yogis have our duties to bring the light of the Deities in our attention. We need to see what Śhrī Rāma did, if there were some difficulties how would Śhrī Sītā reacted, what She would have said. If we start thinking like Her all the women will be good Gṛuhalakṣhmīs.
As you know Śhrī Sītā took many forms, one of them is of Gṛuhalakṣhmī in the form of Śhrī Fāṭimah. She was in the house covered in chādar but She did all the dhārmik works.
For this you don't need to go out and start giving lectures and become big leaders, this is not necessary, staying at home also you can do the dhārmik work, take care of your children and the people around you and speak to them about Sahaja Yoga, later on it can be in your surroundings. But before that you have to imbibe the qualities of Śhrī Sītā within you."

Version 2:
"What is the duty of Sahaja Yogis' life? We have to bring the light of God in our attention.
We must see and behave as Śhrī Rāma. What would Śhrī Rāma or Sītā do in this situation? What would Sītājī say? How would Sītā behave?
She is also Gṛuhalakṣhmī. As you know Sītājī took many births. Gṛuhalakṣhmī was in the form of Fāṭimah Bi. She was humbly in the house but all dharma was done by Her power. Not necessary for Her to go out and give big lectures.
You can do that work at home with children, relatives and friends. You can spread Sahaja Yoga at the house. After getting all of it you can go out to society.
But ladies have to have purity like Sītājī first."
1991-0325 Śhrī Rāma Pūjā (Hindi) (the day after Rāma Navamī Day), If You Believe in Śhrī Rāma Follow His Ideal (Our Nature Can Change because He Is Our Ideal and You All Become Ideals for this World), Kolkata, West Bengal, India

"So we have Fāṭimah, at a young age She had these two sweet children who died in the war in Karbalāʾ. But a brave woman, the way She established the Shia system! Her husband also died. And She did all that on Her own. Living behind the purdah, living behind the walls, She managed everything.
We have had many such queens in our country. There was a seventeen-year-old widow, who was the daughter-in-law of Śhivajī, She fought with Aurangzeb and defeated him, in our country: Tārābāī. So many of them we have!
But if you do not have the alertness, then you cannot be a Gṛuhalakṣhmī, you cannot be a good mother, you cannot be a good wife."
1991-0428 Śhrī Haṃsa Chakra Pūjā, The Source of Discretion, Queens, New York City, NY, U.S.A.

"There's a gentleman, a Muslim gentleman, I'm happy he asked Me a very nice question about Imam Husayn Sāhab, the son of ʿAlī. The Mother was Fāṭimah Bi. He was killed in the war, where They were absolutely correct: what They said was correct, no doubt. Both the brothers were killed. And He said: "We have to fight our enemies."
It was all right for Them to know who was their enemy, because They were realized Souls. We are not. We do not know who are our enemies.
These are age-old things, also, we need not carry it on."
1992-0612 Public Program, Day 2, Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, South Kensington, London SW7 2AP, UK

"I hope tomorrow you will get more people from Iran.
I have this great feeling for Iran.
So, Fāṭimah was there, Her two children were killed there. That's a very sad story.
And now, despite all oil and everything, I've heard that people are getting very poor there. And even small children of twelve years or so are carrying guns in their hands. Is a mad world."
1992-0915 Public Talk to a Group of about 20 Iranians, Āśhram, 5206 Topeka Drive, Tarzana, CA, U.S.A.

"Now we have before us such a great artist. His name is-s, you know, Ustād Amjad Alī Khān Sāhab.
But have you seen the word ʿAlī there?
Perhaps, you do not know that we worship ʿAlī and Fāṭimah Bi, in a Pūjā. There's a regular Pūjā for Them. Because to us They are Brahmadeva Itself [Himself]. And that's why you'll find [musicians], among these Shia people, who have got such a talent of expression."
1992-1230 Talk to Sahaja Yogis (English + Hindi), before the Evening Program (Santūr Ustād Amjad Alī Khān and family), Kalwa, Thane, Maharashtra, India

Version 1:
"In Sahaja Yoga we worship Śhrī Rāma, Muhammad Sāheb, ʿAlī, Fāṭimah, Lord Buddha, Lord Mahāvīra and other Incarnations because They are worshipful. We are nobody to judge who is greater or smaller."
Version 2:
"We Sahaja Yogis pray to Muhammad Sāheb, ʿAlī, Fāṭimah, Lord Buddha, Lord Mahāvīra because all these are worth praying to. Who are we to call Them small or not great?"
1993-0219 Śhivarātri Pūjā (Hindi), Kyukī Mānava kā Aṃtima Lakṣhya yahī hai kī Vo Śhiva Tattwa ko Prāpta Kare (The Ultimate Aim of Human Beings Is to Attain that Śhiva Tattwa), Tent, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

"Today is a very joyous that all of us are here, in Turkey, to celebrate the Pūjā to Fāṭimah's.
As you know about Her that She was the daughter of Muhammad Sāhab, and was married to ʿAlī, and She had two children, Hasan and Husayn, who were ultimately killed in Karbalāʾ by the fanatics, who were, that time, called themselves Sunnis.

......
Fāṭimah lost Her two children, and She was the Embodiment of Gṛuhalakṣhmī.
She resides in our left Nābhī. So for all the diseases that are connected with the spleen, all the problems that are connected with your left Nābh... Nābhī, can be only done .. collor ... corrected by Fāṭimah.
So you have to keep Fāṭimah awakened within yourself.

That we are here in the Islamic culture, orwe can say this is place of Islamic culture. And in the Islamic culture a housewife was given a very-very important place.
At the time of Muhammad Sāhab there were struggles and fights and wars going on between different tribes. As a result, many, many young men were killed. Only quite old people survived. And also, so many women. This is the reason why other Muhammad said that: "You can marry four wives, five wives, but you cannot allow them to remain unmarried, or they will have extramarital relationships with you." That will be the biggest fall for Islam, for that religion." So, He understood that, unless and until women are kept absolutely chaste, absolutely pure, there cannot be the Kingdom of God.
In Sanskrit there's a saying: "Yatra narya[sty] pujyante, tatra ramante Devatā" [part of Manusmṛiti 3.56 with inversion of "ramante tatra"], meaning: "Where the women are respected, are worshiped, and they are worshipful" -- not that they are to be worshiped, but they are respectable -- "there only exists the Kingdom of God."
So, so much responsibility is on women.
So, from Fāṭimah's life we have to know that She did not go out of Her house, and She remained a housewife. And She made Her two children grow up in such a manner that They had to fight the war against fanaticism. Her husband also was there.
This is how a woman of a housewife is shown to be so powerful, that though she's in the house, though she's ... looks to be just a mother, but how powerful she is! ......
The men, as a whole, are very different type, you must understand. They are extroverts, and whatever the women care too much for, they do not. It's all right, because-s-s women and men are complementary.
Like ʿAlī was there outside working everything out, while Fāṭimah Bi in the house, home, who never went out, but He knew His source of energy: from where it was coming.
......
I mean, you can think of your mothers, how much they loved you -- all the men have a mother. Why? Why do you think of your mother so much? Because she sacrificed everything, but without showing that she was sacrificing. She did so much for you, so you could be a woman.
Woman's potential to love is tremendous! Tremendous!
And this is what we have to learn from Fāṭimah. She gave Her two children to be killed! She knew, because She was, after all, Viṣhṇumāyā. She was the Incarnation of Viṣhṇumāyā. She knew Her children will be killed! But still She sent Her children. "All right. Doesn't matter. Even if I know that They are going to die, it's all right."
Such bravery, such courage, such understanding of the duty of Her children.

Today we remember Them as Hasan and Husayn. Supposing She had said, 'No-no-no-no, don't go for the war. Stay at home.' And if She had forced Them not to go, then They would not have gone! We would not have talked about Them today, isn't it? In any case They would have been dead sometime, but the death of a hero They got because of Their mother. Of course They were also a kind of Incarnations, but the way She gave Them absolutely complete encouragement, "Go and fight for the right thing," because these fundamentalists were trying to bring their fanaticism.
So, today is a day I have to tell men also that you must learn to respect a woman who is chaste. ......
And this special Pūjā for Fāṭimah Bi is Pūjā to Viṣhṇumāyā.
Also the guilt that works on the left Viśhuddhi can be cured if you develop your chastity. You'll never feel guilty! Because that's such a virtue you have. In that virtue, you will never, never feel guilty. And you can stand up to any nonsense because, 'We are standing on the Truth of Chastity.'
Today is special day, I would say, when we are worshiping this great ideal of chastity, that is Fāṭimah Bi.
......
[During the offering of gifts:] ...... stone phīrozā comes from Iran, and Fāṭimah used ... used to wear phīrozā beam. So I, this for a turquoise. Is called as phīrozā. And full of it is [] Iran. So, []. She used to wear this phīrozā [] is absolutely correct. [Exuberance and applause.]
[After 32 seconds:] Also this, for your information, this [] also comes from Iran, Iran. Also from the same place were She was.
So just see the coincidence: exactly, at this time, to come from Iran.
May God bless that country, and may there be peace."

"But in Turkey, thanks to Atatur [Atatürk], I think, that these prospered very well.
And they came to Me, and they just surrendered to Sahaja Yoga. They wanted their Realization, they got their Realization. When their guru came, he also got his Realization, and he said, "This is thing ... Sahaja Yoga which is going to transform the whole world."
They, of course, they are in a way Muslims, because born in Muslim families, and that they sing the praise of Muhammad, of ʿAlī, of Fāṭimah, of everyone. But they don't consider that the, "We are the only chosen ones."
Such beautiful people they were! They got their Realization, "What it is? What about Christ?"
He said, "Those who are not against Me, are with Me." Who are those, who are with Him?
He was hardly given three years to express Himself.
People were so blind at that time."

"Also, Fāṭimah was absolutely sort of neglected by the people at that time. They wouldn't listen to Her what She had to say.
See, Her ideas about women was very different.
......
For Sahaja Yoga, we worship Fāṭimah. She is a Goddess to us. "

1993-0715 Meeting with Ayatollah Dr. Mehdi Rouhani, Conversation and Dinner, Paris, France

"We have Hazarat ʿAlī, who was Himself, according to our Sahaja Yoga, He was an Incarnation as Muhammad Sāhab was. We worship Muhammad Sāheb, Hazarat ʿAlī, and Fāṭimah. For us, They are much more than you know in Qur'ān, which, later on you'll find out: how They are related to India. They are very, very great Souls who came on this Earth, and because these fanatics didn't understand Them, they killed Them.
......
[Receives a card with a question.] "Now, he's asked Me a very nice question: [Reading:] "What is Your religion now?" To be very frank, My religion is a Universal Religion. This is the religion that Gāndhījī, Mahātmā Gāndhī preached. That we don't only respect, but we worship. We worship Muhammad Sāhab, Hazarat ʿAlī, Fāṭimah Bi, all of Them. Worship! Also, we worship Christ, we worship Moses. Also, we worship Śhrī Kṛiṣhṇa and Śhrī Rām. Because They are all flowers of the same Tree of Spirituality. At different times They came."
1993-1009 Iranian Public Program, 11301 Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A.

"He [Muhammad Sāhab] respected women!
Not only, He told His wife, that, "You are going to work out," ʿĀ'ishah, He told that, "you are going to work out something against the religion." And really it was wrong on her because His own daughter, as you know Her name was Fāṭimah, stood up and said that, "This, never Muhammad Sāhab has said it."
But this Abū Bakr [father-in-law, the father of ʿĀ'ishah], is a fellow who just took the platform, [laughing:] as it is, I should say, instead of His own son-in-law, Hazarata ʿAlī, who was a great realized Soul. Āṇi [and] he just completely changed uh-uh the ideas about women which Fāṭimah was going to tell.
So there were uh big wars, called Karbalāʾ, in which two children of Fāṭimah Bi were killed, Hazarata ʿAlī was also killed, and there two groups were formed, one is Shia and Sunni.
But Shias, also, don't understand that they have to respect their women, because Fāṭimah Bi Itself [Herself] was a, not only a Saint but an Incarnation, She was a Goddess."

"Now, if I had come on a tiger wi ... with a sword in My hand, nobody would have stood near Me. [Laughs, laughter.] [Laughing:] You all would have run away from Me. In any other form, if the Goddess had come, She could not have done what She was supposed to do.
Moreover, only if She had come as the Mother of Christ or Śhrī Sītājī or, you can say, Fāṭimah Bi -- They all ended Their lives. They had to go away from this world, so early, I mean. They couldn't do any work whatsoever."

"Whatever Haz... Hazarat ʿAlī did and His sons Hasan and Husayn have done, we have to now fulfill Their promise. And here we are with all of this from all countries, who are sitting down and who all believe in ʿAlī and also Fāṭimah, Hasan, Husayn, everyone. So now, we have to spread the news that we have all to get that Realization which They have promised."
1994-1104 Conversation with Turkish Sufi Musicians (Guḍhī Pāḍavā Day), during the Evening Program, the day before Diwālī Pūjā, Istanbul, Turkey

"There is a special relationship that exists between Saints, and it's very joy-giving. You feel you are not alone in this place: there are many others who have lived. But they could not do much because people were so ignorant.
Most of the Saints, even Muhammad Sāhab was tortured. Hazarat ʿAlī who, was a Great Incarnation, also was killed. He ... His two children from Fāṭimah also were killed. Horrible things happened to Them.
That does not mean that spiritual people do not have the protection of the Divine. But it was all done to show how these people could sacrifice Their life [lives] for Truth.
All this is done for us. All these sacrifices are going to help us.
Gradually we'll realize where They exist within our body. If They're enlightened within you, you get Their blessings. You have to have connection with Them.
......
He [Śhrī Mātājī's father] was himself a realized Soul. And he had tremendous-s-s respect for Muhammad Sāhsb, for Hazarat ʿAlī, for Fāṭimah, for Hasan, Husayn.
He told ... he told Me all about Islam or how to talk to Islamic people. Because if you tell the Truth, there will be a fatwā on Me."

"What discipline you give to your children? Should be Tunisian or Turkish, your children. They must respect your culture and not that of Germany or of France.
Whatever dress we wear is traditional from days together, thousands of years we've been wearing sāṛī. Actually, by traveling, is [a] little awkward with sāṛī.
I can never wear jeans, whatever you may try [laughter]. Because this is our tradition. And in our tradition, the way a woman is respectable has to be in sāṛī.
In some cities, before marriage they do wear every kind of dress. But after marriage, they assume the position as a Gṛuhalakṣhmī, meaning the Goddess of the household.
She is the Goddess, a woman is! And if she is the Goddess, then all kinds of blessings come on that family.
We have seen, our experiences, that if the woman is a Gṛuhalakṣhmī in the pattern of Fāṭimah, then all the good can come to that family.
......
In Sahaja Yoga, you will know who They were: who was Fāṭimah, who was Hazarat ʿAlī, who was Muhammad Sāhab. You will know everything. All the subtle side of these Great Incarnations you will know, and you will get proof. It is a tangible thing, absolutely tangible."
1994-1113 Public Talk to Tunisian Women, Hotel, Tunis, Tunisia

Version 1:
"Today women have gone weaker so the men have also become weak and powerless. Till the purity and loving mother like qualities develop in a woman the Gṛuhalakṣhmī Śhakti does not get awakened in her.
But she should be wise. Gṛuhalakṣhmī has to be wise and intelligent.
So we can say that when this Mahākālī Śhakti gets cool and peaceful it becomes Gṛuhalakṣhmī.
We believe in the Power of Fāṭimah as perfect Gṛuhalakṣhmī and she should sit on the Throne of Gṛuhalakṣhmī.
By this Power of Mahākālī a woman can correct her children. She keeps her character pure and we are witness that the pativrata, women's devotion towards her husband, cannot be destroyed by any thing because it is her śhakti. People and negativities are afraid of pativratā women.
Also the husbands should understand that the power within them is from the śhakti, their wife."

Version 2:
"This śhakti comes from the women's śhālīnatā. And as long as this śhālīnatā of the woman is not active, the Gṛuhalakṣhmī's Power does not manifest within her.
But she has to be clever. Gṛuhalakṣhmī has to be clever. Secondly she has to be understanding.
So we can say when this Mahākālī Śhakti becomes very calm, then she becomes gṛuhalakṣhmī.
So we believe in Fāṭimah in that She decorates the throne of Gṛuhalakṣhmī.
With this Power of Mahākālī, the woman keeps her children on the proper road. She keeps her character shining, and we are witnesses to the fact that the devotion and faithfulness of a devoted, faithful wife cannot be destroyed by anyone. She has her śhakti. This is Mahākālī's Śhakti: that people are afraid of a devoted wife.
And husbands should also know that the active power inside them also conies from the woman."

"And Saints have always respected other Saints.
Among Muslims, those who are Sufis: here Hazarat Muhammad, Nizamuddin Sāhab, then [Amīr] Khusro Sāhab, Moinuddin [Chisti] Sāhab. In this way, everywhere, I have seen Sufis, such as they are in Tunisia, and are in Turkey.
And in Turkey, there were some old Sufis. They said that, "Śhrī Mātājī's work is greater than that of Fāṭimah Bi." They recognized Me. Now they are no more in this world but his disciples recognize Me.

"Now, they are Christians, who are coming to Sahaja Yoga, still they are happy if it is Christ! Very happy to. If they are Hindus, should be Kṛiṣhṇa, or Rāma maybe. If they are Muslims, it should be Muhammad Sāhab, Fāṭimah or someone. Otherwise they can't get out of it! See, is very difficult."

"So this is stupidity, this was not told by ʿAlī, Hazarat ʿAlī, that you should hit yourself for anything. This is only ritualism they have [unclear to tally] to make the big uh show, that's all.
[After a gentleman say, "Mh-hm":] It has no meaning. But these people are [have] become Sahaja Yogis now! Have given up all that nonsense. In Sahaja Yoga you will discover who was Hazarat ʿAlī, who was Prophet Muhammad, who was Fāṭimah. They are not just like somebody coming up: They are ancient. And who They were you will discover."

"Today the way ... today the way we see Islam, we get frightened. [Gestures to start the translation.]
Specially, these are the days of your marty[rdo]m.
And I know about it, everything, what had happened to Hasan and Husayn. You all have done lot of penance for Them, and are still doing it. But now the time has come for all of you to know that Their sacrifice, Their kurbānī, has been completely fulfilled. After all, what did They want? They wanted whatever Their father, ʿAlī, wanted Them to do, also Their mother Fāṭimah. But we don't know, 'Who They were? What Incarnations They were? What was Their job?'

2006-1014 Conversation with Sahaja Yogis, about Morocco, London, UK}

"The Primordial Master was also born as Macchindranāth, and again as Zoroaster who was worshiped by the ancient Persians, and still revered by Parsis. Earlier He had taken birth as Abraham and later as Moses, the Fathers of Judaism. In China He was born as Confucius and as Lao Tze, and in Greece as Socrates. He took a very significant Incarnation as Muhammad Sāhib, the Messenger (Paigambar) and founder of Islam, whose daughter Fāṭimah was Sītā reborn, an Incarnation of Ādi Śhakti. She was the origin of the Shiya sect among the Muslims (in Indian dialect Sītā is called Shiya). Yet again He took birth as Guru Nāṇak, founder of the Sikh religion, whose sister was Nāṇakī (Jānakī, i.e., Sītā). Most recently He was born as Śhrī Sāī Bābā of Śhirḍī in the Indian State of Maharashtra where He died in 1918. Altogether there were ten major Avatāras of Dattātreya.
Later They were born in Arabia as Hasan and Husayn, the two sons of Fāṭimah, daughter of Muhammad Sāhib. They were murdered in a very violent war at Karbalāʾ. Their death signifies a great sacrifice in the name of religion. It is an indication how people who are extreme in nature take to fanaticism and, in their blindness, kill the very essence of religion that is born in flesh and blood as an Incarnation. This awakening gave a rude shock to the mass of religious human beings of the land, and there ensued a phenomenon of mass repentance. In this way people were made to realize that there can be no attachment to war for a realized Soul. Violence and nonviolence are attributes of mind but awareness is beyond these extremes. In defense of righteousness one has to go to war, but when one becomes the witness one only sees the play of war without taking any credit or discredit for it, or being disturbed by its aggression.
After Fāṭimah, the Reincarnation of Sītā, died, sectarian war broke out among the Muslims. One side, the Shiya sect, was founded by Her; in Indian dialect Sītā is pronounced 'Shiya'. They are known today as Shiites. Shiya women are regarded as fair, innocent and beautiful because of their motherly expressions; in the same way the women of Janakapur, Sītā's birthplace in India, are similarly blessed by Mahālakṣhmī."
The Book of Ādi Śhakti, Chapter 2: Divine Incarnations -- Ambassadors of God

"Brahmadeva represents that aspect of God Almighty which manifests as the Creator of both the subtle side (esthetics), and of the gross side of material creation. Brahmadeva looks like an ascetic, a saintly personality, with a beard and mustache. He has four heads and all the hair on His heads is tied up in a top-knot. His body is thin with His most prominent feature being bulging and very large eyes. Brahmadeva rarely incarnates but He has incarnated once as Hazarat ʿAlī, husband of Fāṭimah and son-in-law of Muhammad Sāhib. Some ancient Sages tried to explain the meaning of His four heads as the expression of creation into four Vedas. The meaning of His heads is much wider and deeper, though. Brahmadeva is the symbol of the Creative Power of the Supreme, the Īśhwara, Brahma, God. This creative power is expressed through the plane of matter in this universe. All material things have three dimensions but there is a fourth dimension which only human beings can see and feel. This fourth dimension is the esthetic dimension created by balanced harmonies and the integration of different textures, forms and lines. Animals have no sense of beauty; only human beings can feel the esthetics of a composition of different colors, or the movement of lines and the melting of forms. The feelings of joy acquired through this esthetic sense create a Rasa (a secretion of the essence or juice of a feeling). This Rasa gives one a stimulative feeling that sets in motion waves of esthetic joy within the Inner Self. These joys are of different frequencies and vibrations. One does not need to dissect them but as I look at the different petals of this chakra, I shall try to explain the kinds of joys present in the realm of creativity expressed through divine enlightenment."
