Love is a feeling and a power
directed to my fellow human beings
Love is a feeling and response
to the greater one

But more than love
it’s gratefulness
that I wake up with every morning

Gratefulness
for how far I’ve come

Gratefulness
for how much I’ve learned

Gratefulness
to be alive and see
evolution happening inside of you and me
