My innocence was hurt
when I was but a child

My innocence was hurt
by others who were but children

My attention was directed
towards baser things

My attention was corrupted
ithout knowing how to value me myself

When the Mother awakened in my being
She started to heal the child in me

She started to show me how to value me myself
She started to show me how to respect me myself

When the child within awakened, the joy was just intense
More intense than any joy I might have felt before

Much more intense, than any happiness
gained from short time satisfaction

Slowly the child in me grew stronger
Not so easily affected by baser feelings
Not so easily disturbed and scared

The attention stronger, wisdom protecting me

Chastity does not come from outward actions
Chastity does not prevent expression to the one I wed

Chastity allows me to respect me myself
Chastity allows me to express my love with care

Chastity has restored my innocence
