Innocence is not naivety
Chastity is not abstinence

Naivety does not give joy
Abstinence does not preclude desire

The joy of innocence is like looking at a baby

Normal people just feel joy
and the longing to show their love

No desires, no fear, no expectations
Just the peaceful joy of feeling love

The joy of chastity is only felt when the love is pure

The same joy might be briefly glimpsed
when two lovers do unite

But this glimpse of joy is short and fleeting
A one thousand part of the joy of truly feeling chaste

Chastity has no connection to physical behavior

It cannot be reached by abstinence
It cannot be gained by blocking out the senses
It is the joy of being pure; it is the joy of being true
This joy is felt when the child within is happy

This joy is felt when looking at oneself
is like looking at a baby child

To feel the love, to feel the peace
To feel the joy of being pure and true
