[And he was given full freedom. He was given the ego and superego. In his ego he started behaving in whatever way he liked. In order to control him, several Saints like Sant Jñāneśhwar, Sant Tukārām, Sant Rāmadās, Sant Eknāth, etc., by their behavior tried to show him several ways of turning his attention towards God. Ṛiṣhis and Munis, through their austerities, tried to show him the way to God. The Saints wrote several books explaining to man their experiences, but all these people were unable to make others experience what they had experienced.]

"But you think that, 'We will do something and show.' Rāmadās Swāmī has said, "Alpa dhāriṣhṭa paye." You want to do something, go ahead, do it. Then when you stumble and fumble down, get hurt, then you blame God, that, 'We did so much effort, so much we called God, then why did this mistake happen?' Who had asked you to do so much effort?' It is better to sit in one place silently that to bang yourself here and there like a blind. And then put down your hand and come and tell Me, 'Mother, how could this happen?' "

Paḍhatamūrkh is a very sharp expression in our Marathi language. Rāmadās must have seen several educated idiots that is why He has referred to them as paḍhatamūrkh. With these paḍhatamūrkh it will not happen."

"And the this is the statue of a ... here if you see on the right-hand side is uh Śhrī Rām[a]dās Swāmī, the one who was the Guru of a ... our great ... great king Śhivajī Mahārāj, you see.

He worshiped from His childhood, you see, and because Hanumāna is uhs ... is a ... an angel, you know that, and He doesn't marry. But He was forced to marry, you see. So. when He was getting married only, He ran away from that place. Because when they said, "Sāvadhān, sāvadhāṃ," means now after marriage they say, "All right, be careful, became ..." Just before the marriage took place, He just ran way from there, without getting married. Because He cannot be married. He told them, they would not listen and He couldn't bear it [laughing:] any more, so ran away.
Then He went and He ... came back again when ... uh-uh-uh ... in the time of Śhivajī. And the then Śhivajī became His disciple.
But uh He ... He took some tes[ts] of His disciples.
I do not take any tests but uh, you see, [He] took some tests.
First of all, He said, "I'm very-very sick and I've got a very big uh-uh-uh ... uh-uh ... wound in My foot and it has become a[n] ... uh ulcer now. It's a ... it's all full of pus and uh ... full of all ... uh-uh-uh blood and pus and all that. And only a ... a ... eh-eh-eh ... My disciple can only suck it out. Otherwise nobody can suck it out." So, all His disciples got a fright of their lives. They [as some laughter starts:] said, "How can we do that? Is too much!" But Śhivajī said, "All right." Śhivajī came and took out his a crown, and he just sat down, sucking his a ... uh-uh-uh ... his a ... wound, you see. And it was nothing but He had tied a big uh-uh-uh, now, mango. [As laughter starts:] And he was just su...
But then He wen... told Śhivajī and others that uh ... uh ... they [He] said, "I'm very sick now. You must uh get Me the ... milk of the .... uh-uh-uh ... tigress," you see. You must go and get them [it]."
That, those days there were lots of tigers and tigresses here, but not nowadays.
So He said, "You must go and get uh milk of the tigress for Me." So they all thought, how they can go and milk the tigress? It's very difficult. [Laughter.] So-o-o ... they uh ... Śhivajī said, "All right, I'll go down."
He went in the village, and then he went to the ... uh forest, you see. And there he saw a's tigress, you see. So-o-o, he went and told the tigress, he just uh bowed before the tigress, he said, "See, I don't want to disturb you, but my Guru wants your milk. So you please allow me to take your milk." And the tigress came and stood before him! And he milked the tigress, and took the milk to-o-o his Guru and gave it to Him.
So the Guru ... uh so ... uh-uh-uh people asked him, "How did you manage? How could you do that?" He said, "Don't you know what our Guru is? He is the ... uh-uh-uh Hanumāns Himself. He is ... He is God [laughing:] Himself. What is there? I just went and told and tigress knew about Him. She just said, 'All right.' "Shea [if] Guru wants it, how can she trouble me?"
If you have to do anything for your Guru, whatever you have to do for your Guru, with full faith and understanding about the Guru, then of course the animals understands, then why not human being?
So, he said, "I can't understand why you were very afraid of it. Is nothing much."
And that is what it is.
But in those days, all the gurus used to take such parīkṣhās [tests].
But uh-uh-uh when, ultimately, you see after his all training, uh-uh-uh ... the ... uh-uh-uh ... king who was Śhivajī, was crowned.
You see, after crowning, one day, this Rām[a]dās Swāmī went to his house. And wherever He went He used to ask for some alms. Only from one house He used to get. And He used to go and just uh-uh-uh knock His a ... He had something He used to carry with Him that He used to knock. And He used to say that: "Jay jay Raghuvīr Samarth!", He used to say like that. He went and said that.
So, His disciple was the king there, and he ... he understood that, His disciple understood that, 'My Guru has come. I have to give something as a dakṣhiṇā. What can I give him?'
So he wrote a letter that, "All my kingdom is ... is yours. I give everything to You, Sir. I owe nothing."
And he sent that letter to Him.
So, when the letter came into His a ... everywhere She [He] was asking for alms, you see. He opened it and read it, and he laughed and He called, you see, disciple. He said: "You see, I'm a ... I'm a saṃnyāsī. So you can't give Me anything. I ... I ... what will I do with the ... the kingdom? I don't know how to run the kingdom. But you have to run the kingdom. But you must now, as you have given it to a saṃnyāsī, do it with a detached mind. The whole thing should be done with the detached mind of a saṃnyāsī. And for that you must use ... this, My" -- He used to cover Himself with a loincloth, you see, with a double type of a loincloth, which you have seen how little loincloth He was wearing. "This should be used as the flag to show that just a loincloth of a saṃnyāsī is the flag of Marāṭhās."
And that's how this ... uh-uh-uh ... orange-colored flag was hoisted as the flag of Śhivajī.
And now it is used politically also by some people, that's a wrong thing to do.
But this is the flag, which you must have seen in My, all My, most of My processions, they use it: is the flag which was taken by ... uh this King, Śhivajī Mahārāj, as his own flag to announce that he is doing this, he is running this kingdom with the detached mind of a saṃnyāsī.
So there are many stories about them, lots of stories about Rām[a]dās and ... uh-uh His disciple, this king, and how He used to tell him how to run the his administration.
And ... and Śhivajī was the ideal king that we had in this country. Ideal king: a very good character, a very dhārmik fellow, and a very nice person.
And they ... because he wanted four people, four kingdoms to join together, they said that, "If you marry our daughters, only we'll accept you." He had to marry four women. He married them, and looked after them very well.
And he was a very good character and a very nice person and a very good king. And he is such a great uh source of inspiration to Maharashtrians.
And he used to worship all these Gods and ... and Rāma specially. And ... when you will go to Tuḷajāpūr also you will see how he used to come by his horse, uh-uh-uh ... all the way, for miles together, to visit this Devī's temple.
There is another temple formed by ... uh-uh the same Śhrī Rām[a]dāsa, who ... who found a statue of the Goddess. And He calls it Angla Devī.
See now, angla ... angla in Sanskrit means English. Can you imagine?
[After a Sahaja Yogi says something:] Is something surprising, isn't it?
[After a Sahaja Yogi says something:] And He called it Angla Devī.
He put that statue in a temple there. And is called as Angla Gaon [village]. Is one Angla Gaon.
Angla in Sanskrit means English, you see. Angla. It's very surprising, isn't it? So I think at least the English Sahaja Yogis must go and see. [Laughter.] Already, He must have thought of a[n] English Goddess, you see, from London.
[As laughter starts:] Like a ... ah, when they do My Pūjā, sometimes they call Me Londonopuro [Londonpur] Vāsi[ni] [The One who resides in London]. [Some laughter.]

Then we had gone to see Ajiṃkyatārā ['The Impregnable Star', fort 4 kms ESE of Sātārā]. There are two. But this has more value because is the ... is the ... is just barren, nothing, but His ... uh Samādhi is there. His tomb is there.
So, I think you would like to take the darśhan.
[After a Sahaja Yoginī says, "Yes.":] It's a very beautiful thing to see.

Rām[a]dās Swāmī's. Śhrī Rām[a]dās Swāmī's tomb is there.

"So try to be people who are without any conditioning: that brings out your better quality.
You have been to Sajjanagaḍ, now you have seen it.
And tomorrow it's a New Year, is a very big day tomorrow. So we have to make some promises to ourselves.
That in ah now Sajjanagaḍ such a Great Saint [Śhrī Swāmī Rāmadās] lived, who just wore one dress on His body. You went to see Him. You went to see His vibrations. Now, how much are you going to have out of His life in yourself? That is the point is.
And God knows where He lived! Nobody knew how He lived. He used to sleep on stones and He has to ... has bath uh in every place, wherever He went, on a ... in a river or any place.
He never cooked His food. He used to beg once in the day time.
Such a Great Saint used to go and beg, you see? If you I'll ask you to go and begged [beg], you will feel that I am insulting you.
So He used to go and beg while the whole of welcome, Śhivajī was at His Lotus Feet. But He used to beg. And He used to beg once, eat that much whatever He got from whatever house, that He would eat, and then He would not eat at all.
So that kind of a thing we have to have: this conditioning has to be reduced to it as much as possible."

"Are we going to forget all that civilization that's doomed one in the West?
You are the people who are the foundation, what are you‽ You are not Saints, are you not?
How does a Saint lives [live]?
You have seen Rāmdāsa Swāmī [in Sajjangaḍa], I went to see.
Now do you realize that you went to Mahālakṣhmī, that's one of the ... one of the Pīṭhas of, one of the Kuṇḍalinī's Pīṭha, you see, of the whole Universe. Did you follow that?
Looking after your comfort things or looking after your Spirit? What are you doing here?
Did you go ... did you understand that the temple was for that? Did you follow that point?
And now, I want you to see another temple. And then another temple I'm going to arrange.
Is not so easy: no tourist has gone to these temples! Actually no Indians are – no foreigners are allowed in these temples.
Because you are Saints they have allowed you, but behave like Saints!
What's this nonsense going on? Talking about comfort, this nonsense.
What comfort do you have there? I feel most uncomfortably in the Western countries. There's no comfort of the Spirit! Most uncomfortable I feel. Everybody drinking, everybody nonsensically, so materialistic, so materialistic they are! Horrible!
Now don't think too much of yourself, for Heaven's sake.
I don't want you to talk that somebody's dominating you, crossing your maryādās, 'Sahaj means lethargy.' Why don't you have your own Spirits and your own this ... uh arrangements?
Everything you have misleft, two room... four rooms there unlocked, this thing.
There's one girl looking after Me, [snapping Her right fingers:] how smart she is! Just see how smart she is.
Even ten En... English girls can't look after Me the way she looks after Me. Every little bit of that she knows!
I'm not saying only English but all of you have this problem. Please get rid of it! Otherwise forget the West!
You have to do tremendous jobs!"

"This needs to be found out, hence everyone has [been] told that, 'Everybody should find their own Spirit.' If one of them has told, then it should be described (varṇana). But whoever has become great, they have told us that, 'You need to find your own Spirit within. You should find your God within yourself.' This has been told by all Seers and Saints: Rāmadās has told this, before Him Mārkaṇḍeya has told this, Ādi Śhaṅkarāchārya has told this, Christ has told this, Muhammad has told this, Buddha has told this, Mahāvīra has told this, everyone has told this, that, 'We need to find the Spirit within ourselves.' "In India, there are many who believe in fasting, penance, etc., many of them only suffer from disease and nothing else.
Jew don't believe in Christ because Christ said that, "I will suck all your sins in Me," which is true because when your Āgñyā chakra opens the sins are sucked out by Him. However, they will not believe in Christ.
In addition, they believe that, 'Man should accept suffering to achieve God.' They think that, 'If a Saint is suffering then it is fine for he will get God.'
We made Gyāneśhwar suffer. We did not follow Rāmadās Swāmī. We troubled Tukārām. Similarly, in the case of Nāṇak, Kabīr Dās, [They] were troubled.
To say you are a Saint, you cannot get angry. [unclear]. As if we are entitled to all the anger and they are supposed to accept and suffer everything."

"And Nāṇak Sāhab Himself always talked about Sadguru. You see, because He found out, that people used to talk about Guru like Swāmī Rāmdās and all those talk of Guru, but then He thought: that, 'Is better to call Sadguru and guru [laughing:] as two things.'
Sadguru is the one who has got Realization. And the one who calls himself as a guru without Realization, talks big, 'I, you, I'll give you this,' and, 'I'll give you that,' and just makes a big organization out of that, is not a guru.
So, that is what it is: a person has to be a realized Soul, and he must know all the details about how to do it."

Piśhācha means a bhūt of a style, you see which sticks on to people, is piśhāch.
So he says, "Piśhācha mage piśhācha gelā āhe": after [behind] one bhūt, another bhūt has gone.
So who can go after that? Who can save that? I mean if they are going after the bhūt.
And what sārthak means: what will they achieve out of it?"

"All this when we say that you are 'this', there's no need to be puffed up. You see, if I tell a little tree, that, 'You are going to be a big tree,' doesn't mean that it has become a big tree. One has to become the big tree by pushing forward.
And that quality like Gyāneśhwara, like Tukārāma, like Rāmadāsa, you all have to become that quality.
They never saw Me. I just nourished them, without they seeing Me.
But they nourished themselves on their own virtues, on their own qualities, on their own greatness.
You have to be great like that!"

"Only Swāmī Rāmadāsa did not do Prapañcha. But in [His Marathi book] Dāsbodha, Prapañcha is flowing in every page. "Leaving Prapañcha, you cannot find God." He said this many times.
To find God by leaving Prapañcha has been the imagination of people of our country since ancient times.

But I tell you that Maharashtra's background is very great.
They forget everything and don't study or understand. Now, how much knowledge of music they have in Maharashtra. There is lot of literature of Saints in Marathi language. But who reads such books now?
They purchase dirty books from the street and read. Very superficial things ... not going deeper but floating on top. This is the condition of Yuva [young] generation.
If it continues then they all will be lost. They will become useless.
Ask Me! I went to America and there are sixty-five percent jobless people. There they are afraid of a disease called AIDS. All young generation is dying and can't understand how to escape from it.
Its reason is, 'What's wrong?' 'There might have been Saint Rāmadāsa, what are we going to do with Him? Keep this all with you, we are becoming modern now.'
This stupid modernity! Where those modern Americans are going? You go to those countries once, what is the condition of those modern people?
The writers here keep writing about those countries sitting here. Go there and see what's happening in those modern countries!
The elders there keep thinking day and night that how to commit suicide. They have only one thought and that is suicide. This is the only way left with them."

"All the renowned Saints have written about this knowledge in all the known Scriptures of the world. If you read what Rāmdās Swāmī has written that, "Nothing you will gain by reading something over and again." Our very famous Kabīr Dās has written, "Padhī, padhī paṇḍit mūrkha bhaye." He has written it so clearly. Many more things are written by these Saints so clearly."

He was a strong saintly person.] This is the real Guru [of Śhivajī Mahārāj], not that fake one.
[Śhrī Mātājī explains that Rāmdās was Hanumān, and Hanumān took his birth at An̄janerī, a place near Trimbakeśhwar in Maharashtra, and She visited that place. Śhrī Mātājī explains that near there is where Śhrī Hanumān fell when he tried to catch the Sun.]

"These people have now arrived at this place. You have welcomed them and made proper arrangements for them. You have found such beautiful place for them. So on their behalf I thank you.
At this place they have had joyful time.
By God's Grace they have everything in their countries. If you visit their countries you will be surprised that they have grown up in great affluence. All kinds of comforts and luxuries are available to them.
However since I have told them that the idols of Śhrī Rāma and Śhrī Sītā were found here, they have come here tramping over our roads, etc. This is such [a] holy place that Śhrī Rāmdās Swāmī received those idols and installed them at Chāphaḷ. On My words these people are insisting on coming here.
So, I told the people of this place to make arrangements for their stay here.
Thus leaving aside all luxuries and pleasures they are enjoying the Divine Bliss at this place."

"Once Śhivajī was building a huge fort. And there it so happened that he got into ego. He felt, 'See, because of this work, so many people are employed.' [Then] his Guru Rāmdāsa appeared on the scene.
He Himself is the controller of ego, because He was the Incarnation of Hanumāna!
So He came, and He said, "All right, I want you to do one thing for me." He said, "Yes, sir, what do You want me to do?" He said: "You break this boulder that is lying here, such a big boulder, bit by bit." So it started breaking, when people hit it. And inside came a little s-stone, which he took up, just like a coconut in his hand. And he broke [it]. And there was water and there was a frog inside.
And he realized, [laughing:] Śhivajī, that: 'If God has created this frog, He's also keep it ... give ... given him water. Who am I, to have this ego?' So the bliss-s came into him: 'That God has provided me with everything. Is just a red-carpet treatment for me. What have I done? Nothing. Is so beautiful!'
How many have got this bliss-s-s? Have sympathy for them. Have compassion for them, those who do not have.
But bliss comes to you through your confidence in yourself. If you have no confidence in yourself, bliss cannot be."

"All this is a ... from My childhood.
You see, Rāmdāsa's ... uh Rāmdāsa's uh ... talk, report with Himself, you see. He's telling His mind, that: "Oh, My mind, please do not talk big. You must talk something that is sensible or that is good for us. Talk something sweet to others. And try to keep the company of such people who talk good things."
And all these things, I tell you, is such a good conditioning on the mind, that, 'You should not do wrong things.' And it's so straightforward saying. I mean there's no option as if, from childhood if you read, listen to these things and .... ah-aha-ah understand them.
Then He says that: "Let your body be used like the sandalwood, be ... uh which is decreasing every time, still it is giving fragrance. Let your body be used like a sandalwood which is all the time rubbed and rubbed and rubbed and gives fragrance and it's decreasing."
That's how you should work in this world. I hope I am doing something like that."

"Rāmdās Swāmī was Himself a Brahmin but a type, if Māravāṛi were there who were Kṣhatriyas. But He said Marāṭhā to Himself because Marāṭhā is 'one who knows God'. He said, "Such a brave person is one who knows his own religion."

Also, all the Saints have talked against the people who take money from you and misguide you in the name of God. They have even used abuses at times to describe what exactly these people are.
Saint Rāmdās says, "Mahisha mardila chandane tyala pujite." This means that some people brought a buffalo, rubbed chandan [sandalwood powder] over it and started doing Pūjā to it as it was covered with chandan. He has said so clearly about the level of blind faith in our country and how we fall prey to it. If one person goes then another is ready to take his place.
Without Sahaja Yoga, you won't recognize who is true and who is false."

"Hence whatever first we need to tell people, it should be explained in their language, in their way.
Secondly, as we have the guidance of Nāmdeo [Nāmadev], Tukārām, Gora Kumbhar, Janābāi, Muktābāī, Dyaneśhwar and Rāmadās, after reading their books we should examine what all is written in the poetic verses written in those books. Means what they have written about the people engrossed in the misconceptions and who fast and perform religious ceremonies.
Dyaneśhwa Himself has clearly written in His book Amṛutānubhav that after reading His book, one should simply contemplate and think, 'What this is all about?', not merely continue reading. You will be surprised that He has stipulated in it more clearly what I am emphasizing.
Rāmadās Swāmī and Tukārām have sweared at such people severely, still these vagabonds [are] misguiding others."

"Śhivajī had a Guru called Rām[a]dāsa.
In those days, gurus u-sed to take lot of test of their disciples.
I never took your test or anything. But you are ... you are testing yourself, that's all.
And his Guru one day said that: "Ah-ah ... I think I need the milk of a tigress-s-s. I have to drink the milk of a tigress." [Some laughter.] Half of them died. [Laughter, smiles.] And most of them didn't hear it. Śhivajī said, "All right. I'll get you."
He went in the jungles. He saw a tigress, and the ... there were little-little ... small little ch... children she had, and those cubs were lying on the side. He went and he just said: "Namaskār" to her. He said: "My Guru wants your milk." [One Sahaja Yogi laughs.]
That's all. Because Gurus are Parabrahma. Their orders are listened to by the Parabrahma.
"My Guru, Śhrī Rām[a]dāsa, wants your milk. So, please, will you give me your milk?" So, nicely she got up, stood up before him. He ... milked her, and took that milk for his Guru.
This is what it is.
Have you understood the meaning of Guru Pada?
When you become absolutely one with the desires of your Guru, you achieve the position of a guru.
But if you still have certain ideas about it, then Śhrī Rāmadāsa has said: that then God, "Alpa dhāriṣhṭa paye," sees your little courage, 'All right, go ahead. Break your heads and then come back. I'll fix them up.'
So it is important that we should ... do one thing seriously: is to take your Mother very seriously when it comes to some request.

Is better to listen to what the Guru is telling you, and better to do it. Whatever the Guru says is all right.
Gurus can ask you anything!
I mean, I am quite a nice Guru. [Laughter, smiles.]
Like, this Rāmadāsa Himself asked His disciples: that, "I have got a very bad, septic, uh-uh-uh big boil. And uh please uh try to suck it out because is full of pus."
Imagine!
So they didn't know what to do. You know, how to suck the pus of the Guru is too much.
But Śhivajī came forward. He took down his hat, sat down next to him, started sucking. People said, "How is it?" "It's very sweet, she [it's] very nice."
Actually He had tied a mango there. [Laughter, smiles, applause.]
That is how the gurus took lot of tests-s-s.
I have never taken your test, and you do not take the tests of others. Leave them to Me, I'll manage, all of them, one by one.
Whatever has to happen, happens."

But it will be. Because there is no vision so these things happen.

For this you only have to enter your fort -- that is Nirvichāritā. In Nirvichāritā all the śhaktis which are loving, joy-giving, nurturing will come to you.
But so long as you remain busy with this, or remain busy with this thought that how I shall remove this, how to destroy this or how to remedy it. This will reflect on you not on him.
Rāmadās Swāmī has said, "Alpa dhāriṣhṭa pāne." Whatever little courage you have is being watched by Paramātma.
But you have so many śhaktis in you, so many, that you should awaken them, know them, let them bloom, be happy and respect yourself."

"We have come to a place which we call as Brahmapuri here, called, perhaps, maybe because here Śhrī Rāmadāsa, the Guru of Śhivajī Mahārās [Mahārāj], in these deep waters found the statue of Śhrī Rāma, Sītā, Lakṣhmaṇa and Hanumāna together.
Then they were carried from here and put in a temple called Chāphaḷ, the place where I saw that, also.

Also we have some miraculous things about Christ and His Mother, that we ... they found a statue of Mother Mary and Christ in one of the shores of Bombay [Mumbai] City, ca... and ... called as Worli [locality in central Mumbai and one of the 4 peninsulas], the fisherman found it in their net.
Like Rāmadāsa when He jumped inside this he found it in the river, in the same way.

Now today, I am telling you this because Rāmadāsa was the Guru of Śhivajī. And He was the man who was very detached, He was Hanumāna Himself. And once He came to Śhivajī's place and Śhivajī was so fed up with this people and with the whole administration, and the way the things were. He had made a chit, saying that: "Mh... O, my Guru, I give You all my property, all my lands, all my kingdom, everything at Your Feet and You better look after it." And he [laughing:] put that chit in the ... uh-uh-uh we have the choḷī, you see, in the cloth sort of a thing.
So He stood in the door and read it and he said, "What? [Laughing:] You've given Me everything?" He said, "I am a saṃnyāsī, and I don't know administration. But you can do everything ... uh-uh-uh the same way as you have been doing, but be detached about it. And to show that you are detached you must use a ... a ... waist under's ... under dhotī stuff we call it, in a triangular manner, it is made. You see, that thing, with the ... uh saffron color showing that you are detached and you are a saṃnyāsī."
That's how this flag came into being.
So the entry of the politics has been in this country ... uh entry into politics by uh-uh-uh sākṣhātkāri people or by Incarnation has been there.
Most of the Incarnations have been kings. Like uh we have got Buddha, he was a king, Mahāvīra was a prince. Both were prince. Then we have got Rāma who was a king. Then we have got Śhrī Kṛiṣhṇa who became a king.
So the aiśhwarya, the king-ness, has to be there. Has to be a royal family. Has to be, Incarnation should be from a royal family. In India it is, that is the concept."

Even Rām[a]dās Swāmī, who was a great ... uh-uh-uh Saint of this country, who ... who was the Guru of Śhrī Chatrapatī Śhivajī Mahārāj, He too. He too, has really abused all of them.
I mean, pleh ... I mean I am very much worse than Him because I do not know much of abuses, but He too didn't know much abuses.
So He has used His own style into abuse [abusing] them. That all this kind of-f falsehood that is spreading in the name of God and religion has to be curbed."

"So how this is been created? There have been quite [a] lot of miracles in this country of these Incarnations.
Like Rāmadāsa, who was the Ma... Guru of Śhivajī Mahārāj. It is said that He, in His uh-uh-uh own time, the Mother Earth emitted out manifesting, they say, five hundred Hanumāna.
I don't know [if] the number is correct or not, whatever it is.
But the one, they found a statue in the waters of Aṃgāpūr. It was Rāmadāsa who found it.
And was kept there, and there was a statue of another Goddess, Āṅgalai Devī.
Must be meaning England, I think [laughs]. [Laughing:] Goddess coming from England must be Āṅgalai Devī. Whatever it is.
So, they wanted to remove those statues-s-s from there. And they said that the stentch ... statues would not move. So they had to ask for forgiveness, and with great difficulty they could remove those statues to one place called Chāphaḷ, where they are kept.
Now why to? They took it to Chāphaḷ because there was one Hanumāna created. And this Hanumāna, they wanted to change the face, the architects. So they went on deep down trying to find out what is the, how far does this stone go. So it went on and on and on and on for, I don't know, thousands of feet they went down. And they saw it was still standing on one rock, straightforward. So they gave up, and they kept as it is.
All such miracles have been here to show that these are swayambhus."

"But the people who have written that is all modern style.
On the contrary, there was a great Saint called Rāmdāsa, at the time of Śhivajī. He was the Guru of Śhivajī. Was a very well-known King of Maharashtra. And somebody asked Him, that: "How much time takes does it take for a Kuṇḍalinī to rise?" So He used a Sanskrit word meaning: "Tatkṣhaṇa." Means, "That moment." "But the person who has to do it has to be authorized, and the person who has to take it, must desire it!" That is the word used.
This is all modern nonsense that has come up to sell books, that's all I think. Or some of the people who had no authority, those who led a very funny life.
I know of someone who has written a funny book about Kuṇḍalinī, who has a very bad life of his own, and he says that, "I got such a shock, I got this, that." Naturally! You had no business to enter into an area, where you are not authorized. And if so, also you should have gone to somebody who is authorized.
The authority has to come from the Divine, that's important."

"But in the twelfth century, Gyānadeva, Gyāneśhwara, who was another Nāth Pānthi, His Guru was His own brother, He ... asked the permission, from His brother, that, "Please allow Me to say all these things openly. At least to say in Marathi language, because the common people don't know anything about this knowledge." So He allowed Him, and He wrote the sixth chapter of Gyāneśhwarī in which He described Kuṇḍalinī.
But it was in the twelfth century.
After that, many Saints described, talked about him [It].
Where we went yesterday, to Sātārā, you know that's the place where Śhrī Rāmadāsa lived.
He said that, "Kuṇḍalinī"" -- they asked, somebody asked: "How much time does it take to raise the Kuṇḍalinī?" He said, "That Tatk-ṣhaṇa." Means, "That moment." "But the person who wants to take it should be deserving, and the one who wants to give should be capable."
[As a Sahaja Yogi starts laughing:] It's a big condition. This is such a big if, capital If I tell you. [Laughs.]
As a result, very, very few people got their Realization. And those who were born as realized Souls, found ... found it impossible to talk to people."

"They [Mumbaiites] are the ones who fought that, 'There should be no caste system, that there should be widow remarriages, and there should be no discrimination of any kind.'

"Of course, this is written in ... about, I think, fourteen thousand years back by Mārkaṇḍeya in Sanskrit, but a very difficult Sanskrit language.
Then also Śhaṅkarāchārya at ... when ... at the sixth century.
But this was brought to the public by Gyāneśhwara. But that also was denied.
In the villages of Maharashtra, they all sing Nāmadeva's poem say-ing that, "O Mother, give me the Yoga. Give me the connection with the Divine Power." They are all singing. From ages they have been singing, not knowing what they are singing about.
Then the development came through Guru Nāṇak Sāhab, Kabīr Dās, Rāmdās Swāmī, Tukārām. All these great Saints in ... in this country talked, specially Kabīr Dās and also Nāṇak Sāhib, very clearly they talked about Kuṇḍalinī: very, very clearly.
But still people misunderstood because: there there was no way to know it."

After reading that letter, Guru Rāmdās laughed and said, "Son, I am an ascetic. What will I do with your kingdom? You are the king, and this is your duty [to rule the kingdom]. But yes, if you think, that you should rule this kingdom with bhakti, then you can make its flag, triangular and the same color, as my robe. With that flag, people will understand that you are ruling with a saintly attitude. You don't have any attraction or attachment for it. You are the king, but still you do not have the consciousness of this fact." "

"This knowledge was known not only in India but in various places. But in India, they had mastered this knowledge.
Uh-uh but only thing was that in tradition: one guru used to give Realization to one disciple in his lifetime.
This uh-huhh ... lasted for out tuh [the] twelfth century, when One of them published in His book, Gyāneśhwara, He published in His book, in the sixth chapter, about Kuṇḍalinī.
It's a-uh-uh ... we can say, an a... exposition of the Gītā. But this ... uh, you see, this Gītā which was written, not by Śhrī Kṛiṣhṇa, Vyāsa, He wrote what you have to become. Just like what Christ said. Just uh-uh-uh just like what Qur'ān says.
So, when everybody said the same thing, it was never told how to achieve it. That is how this knowledge was not given.
Till the sixteenth century, [when] in India we had lots of great Saints. Like Guru Nāṇaka, Kabīra, Nāmadeva, so many of them. In Maharashtra like Rāmadāsa, Tukārām. They, also, said: that, 'Is the Kuṇḍalinī which gives you Realization' -- clearly.
But people didn't give any attention to it.
Like Kabīra has said that: "How am I to make them understand when the whole world is blind?" "

And what to say about Guru Nāṇaka, He is a Guru.

And even Alexander was greatly impressed with the culture here. So he did namaskār and went back taking Chandabaradaī with him. There was a great poet called Chandabaradaī. He was from here, from this place. He took him with him. And he gave a great description of Alexander in Rajasthan language.

"Today, many Maharashtrians have come here, and I wanted to say that a great number of people have come from Delhi. So many people would never come from Maharashtra.
In Marathi they are called Gharakombaḍe [homeschool]. It seems they can be found in their own country only. You will never find the people of Bombay [Mumbai] in Poona [Pune] doing any work, and the people of Poona [Pune] are in a way glued like a rākṣhasa.
I am saying so, because sometimes, by saying all this openly, the problem gets solved. I have to say openly that [followers of Pāṇḍuraṅgaśhāstrī] Āṭhavale are better than Sahaja Yogis in Maharashtra.
They talk uselessly, but they have accumulated lākhs of people -- not to mention Gujarat. They are under the influence of gurus. But what happened to Maharashtrians?
Here, Rāmdās Swāmī has talked about all the gurus and -- I shall tell everyone to pay attention -- so many years ago [He] explained Sahaja Yoga.
They sing every day. Nāmadev has written the song, 'Jogawa', that you sing every day: "Mother, please give us Yoga." But for that Yoga you have to do something."

"But, as long as you start thinking that, 'I am doing this work,' 'I am doing that work,' till then Paramachaitanya says, 'OK, do it.'
Like it has been said in Marathi by Rāmadās Swāmī, in Marathi, "Alpa dhāriṣhṭa [paye]," meaning, "Come on, You do it."
Śhivājī Mahārāja, understand, was fighting with Muslims in those days. He confronted the enemies during that period. In the same manner, though he was self-respecting, he was very soft and polite. Along with politeness, he used to have high regard for his mother. He was full of bhakti and had belief in Devī. And he believed in his Guru Śhri Rāmadās Swāmī and he used to believe at least other twenty-one such people, who were great Saints and Sādhus.
All this showed his brightness, that when a person becomes bright, he does not kill anyone, does not lose his temper on anybody. A lot of balance comes in him, and with this balance he does such things, that when he talks with anybody, he will talk in such a manner, which will make people understand that, 'Yes,' it was their mistake, 'I should have not done this.' "

"And it was absolutely f... the freedom of the guru, whom to accept whom not to accept. And everybody was tested thoroughly by the guru if-ph-phph they are capable of achieving Self-realization or not. And this test was so d... so hard, so difficult, and also to a point of cruelty, that very few could pass through that test.
Is not like Sahaja Yoga, everybody is a Sahaja Yogi, it's not like that.
That of course, made it a very narrow margin for people to achieve their Realization.
And these guru[s] never used to leave their own seats, they call it takiya [pillow]. They would be there in their own place, all those who would like to go to him could come. If he allowed, then only they can meet him. You may go on for miles together, nothing: no obligations of the guru that he should meet you.
Perhaps, they didn't feel that love and compassion for the seekers. They-ee didn't understand that the seekers are ardently seeking the Truth and they should not suffer. That may be the reason th-ss... they were not so much concerned. All the time they [gurus] were testing their disciple.
Even Rāmadās, who was the Guru of Śhivajī, was testing even Śhivajī ph... for so many times, though he was a born realized."

Version 1: "Some people claim to be eradicating superstition. The incident which I told yesterday is one type. If somebody speaks something, they are set to harass him. They are not concerned even if thousands of people go to a dirty place.
Someone from them tells Me, "Śhrī Mātājī, he [false guru] has made lots of money. His wife eloped with Rajneesh. Probably she was not given money. We accepted him." OK do it.
But, you say, "I accept," who is this 'I'? Humility should start from here: 'Who am I? I am a Sahaja Yogi. I am a Sahaja Yogi who has become [the] Spirit. Then how should I have behaved?'
You have before you the examples of Gyāneśhwara, Tukārām, Rāmadās, Eknāth. Have you not heard or read about them?
Nāmadeva whom Guru Nāṇaka held to His heart was the one who was from Maharashtra and [a] tailor by caste, wasn't he? Here in his temple they sing bhajans to the beats of cymbals and not even ten persons from the tailor caste go there -- if ten of them are there, we can say Nāmadeva's efforts have shown results.
Today I request to all Saints and Sādhus to take birth in this country and improve all the people."
Version 2: Yesterday there was somebody who came saying that, "I am working to demolish the blind faith in people." So there is that thing, whatever anybody comes up with, people will start following him, they will follow in their thousands, to such filth.
"They have made so much money," Śhrī Mātājī. "And his wife has run off with Rajneesh." "Is that so?", I said, "Maybe he did not give her any money." "We used to worship him." "Really?" Then you carry on doing so.
What do you mean by saying that, "We used to worship him?" Who are you? You should ask yourself, 'Who are you?' Humility should start right from here, 'Who am I? I am a Sahaja Yogi. Who has become the Ātmā, I am a Sahaja Yogi, and how should a Sahaja Yogi behave?'
You have an example of Gyāneśhwar in front of you, you have an example of Tukārām in front of you, Rāmadās and Ekanātha's example is in front of you, did you not hear what They had to say? Have you not witnessed that?
Nāmadeva, who Śhrī Guru Nāṇaka embraced, wasn't that Nāmadeva also a tailor from this Maharashtra? But what I see here, that they are busy singing in his temple! Even if there will be just ten tailors come to Sahaja Yoga, then we should think that Nāmadevas existence has been worth it.
Today I just want to pray to all those Saints that, 'Please take Your birth here again in Maharashtra and put these people right.' "
